St. George
St. George, located in the southwest corner of Utah, is being recognized nationally and internationally as a sanctuary for visitors, residents, and businesses. In the summer of 2008, St. George was acknowledged by Inc. Magazine as the second best city in the United States for business. In June of 2008, U.S. News and World Report called St. George "One of 10 Great Retirement Spots for Golf Nuts." Where to Retire Magazine, which has routinely rated St. George as one of the great places in the U.S. to retire, has now listed St. George as one of eight "hot spots" for retirement home values.
Here we have sculpted red rock desert valleys, holding cactus flowers and exotic looking plants, nestled below pine covered mountain peaks. The St. George Area is surrounded by multiple state parks, nature preserves, and of course the towering monoliths and canyon walls of Zion National Park. Many other national parks, national monuments, and breathtaking vistas are a short drive away.
